Travel Program Tryouts

The Huskies Hockey Club’s travel program gives your player the opportunity to take the next step in their development. We’re committed to creating an environment that challenges athletes while supporting their growth both on and off the ice. Each player will participate in four tryout sessions, with 60 minutes of on-ice evaluation at each, giving our coaching staff the chance to place them on the team that best fits their skill level and long-term development. Dates and times for each level, based on birth year, are listed below.

Tryout Fee: $150.00

Huskies Summer Skates

July 9 – July 30, 2026

Stay sharp this summer. Join the Huskies every Thursday in July for summer skills sessions designed to keep players active, developing, and ready for the upcoming season.

Skaters can register for individual sessions or sign up for all four at a discounted rate.

Huskies Conditioning Skates

August 4th, 6th, 11th, and 13th (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Get ready for tryouts with four high-tempo conditioning skates designed to help players get back into hockey shape and prepare for the season ahead. These skates are strongly encouraged for all players and serve as the perfect lead-up to Huskies tryouts. Shake off the rust, get your legs moving, and hit the ice ready to compete. A great way to prepare for tryouts and start the season strong.

Learn to Skate

Ages 4+
Canlan Sports program, multiple progression levels from first steps to fundamentals of skating that prepare kids for a transition into hockey.

Lil Huskies

Ages 4-8
Introductory Hockey program for kids 4-8. Sessions will be grouped based on skill level and ability. Practice + gameplay components in a Fall / Winter / Spring offering.

Level Up

Ages 9+
For Lil Huskies participants that do not make a Huskies travel team or do not have interest in playing travel hockey, our Level Up program will start at age-9 in 10U and provide a continued pathway for participation with a weekly practice and game in a Fall / Winter / Spring offering that emulates Learn to Skate and Lil Huskies.
