Join Us for Huskies Day on August 8!

The Huskies Hockey Club and Canlan Sports are excited to invite players, families, and the community to Huskies Dayon Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Canlan Sports Romeoville.

Whether you’re already part of the Huskies family or you’re curious about what our program is all about, this is a great opportunity to get on the ice, meet our coaches, enjoy great food, and experience everything that makes the Huskies community special.

Free On-Ice Activities

Spend the day on the ice with Huskies Hockey Director Joe Tomasek and Assistant Hockey Director Jeremy Zabrinas during our free Huskies skates:

• 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – Huskies Mite & Lil Huskies Skate
• 11:40 a.m. – 12:40 p.m. – Huskies Squirt & Peewee Skate
• 12:50 – 1:50 p.m. – Huskies Bantam & Midget Skate

There are also free opportunities for everyone to get on the ice throughout the day.

Stick & Puck

Open to any customer. Full hockey equipment is required.

• 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• 12:40 p.m. – 1:40 p.m.

Public Skate

Bring the whole family out for a free public skate! Skate rental is included at no charge.

• 12:20 – 1:50 p.m.

Food, Fun & Specials

Take a break between skates and enjoy food and refreshments throughout the day.

• Hot Dog & Chips concession special
• Gatorade available for purchase
• Food truck on site serving lunch

Bring a Friend & Enter to Win!

If you’re new to the Huskies or Canlan Sports, stop by the Huskies table in the lobby to check in and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $200 Canlan account credit.

Current Huskies families can earn a raffle entry, too! Simply bring a family that is new to Canlan Sports, and both families will be entered into the raffle.

We’ll be giving away two $200 Canlan account credits:

• One winner from a current Huskies family
• One winner from a family that is new to Canlan Sports
